Bidding Prayers: 13th Sunday in Ordinary time, 27th June 2021

CELEBRANT

United in one Church, one family of Christ, we place our petitions before God our Father who fills us with hope and love.

READER

We remember in our prayers the two great Apostles, Ss. Peter and Paul, patron saints of Rome and the cornerstones on which our Church was built. We give thanks today for our own parish community and pray that we will continue to be strong in our faith and devotion to the word of God. Lord hear us

We pray for those who face persecution or discrimination for upholding their faith, grant them courage and freedom to openly practise their religion and spread the word of the gospel through the example they set in their lives. Lord hear us

We give thanks for our families and the many blessings they bring to enrich and support our lives. We pray for families that are currently experiencing challenge and struggle with finances and relationships, may they receive the help and support they need. Lord hear us

We remember those who are experiencing job insecurities and unemployment. Help them to be supported through this challenging time. May they have the confidence to seek new opportunities and find the peace and strength of Christ. Lord hear us

We pray for the children making their First Holy Communion today, that they will always know the presence of Jesus in their lives. Lord hear us

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and intentions ….. Lord hear us

We ask Mary our mother to watch over and guide us as we pray; Hail Mary……………………..

CELEBRANT

Almighty God, we ask you to listen to our prayers and grant us healing and comfort through Christ our Lord. Amen
