CELEBRANT

Let us bring before our Heavenly Father, whose love for us is beyond our understanding, all our needs and the needs of the world.

READER

We pray for Pope Francis as he continues his recovery following recent surgery. May the Holy Father feel comforted by God’s healing presence. Lord hear us

On this Sea Sunday we pray with gratitude for all seafarers, those involved in the rescue services and those whose lives are affected by the sea. May the Lord keep them safe and guide them as they work in the service of others. We remember the Apostleship of the Sea and the supportive work they carry out. Lord hear us

As we approach the end of the academic year, let us pray for the many children and young people who are about to change schools, move into higher education or begin their working lives. May they know happiness and peace and be supported in their transition to make good choices in the future. Lord hear us

We pray for the children making their First Holy Communion today, that they will always know the presence of Jesus in their lives. Lord hear us

Let us pray for families as the holiday season begins. At a time of uncertainty as lockdown restrictions are eased help them to spend quality time relaxing safely and securely. May they be refreshed and energised spiritually and physically. Lord hear us

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and intentions………….  Lord hear us

We entrust to Mary, Star of the Sea, the well being of all seafarers, the commitment and dedication of chaplains and volunteers and entreat Our Blessed mother to continue to watch over and protect us as we pray; Hail Mary……………………………….
