Bidding Prayers: 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, 7th November 2021

CELEBRANT

We come to you Lord God with our prayers, confident of our love and knowing you care for each one of us.

READER

We pray for our Holy Father Pope Francis and all the clergy who lead the Church through troubled times. May they lead with insight, wisdom and compassion, bringing hope to those who feel vulnerable and afraid of the future. Lord in your mercy

As world leaders return to their homelands from the climate conference may they inspire their governments and peoples to put intentions into actions that will help fight climate change. We remember those young people who have had the courage to make their voices heard and pray that they will exert a positive influence in the future. Lord in your mercy

We pray for all those who suffer loneliness and trust that they may experience the closeness of God and the support and care of others. Lord in your mercy

During this month of the Holy Souls, we remember our loved ones and friends. We also pray for everyone suffering the pain of bereavement. May they be comforted by God’s healing presence and those who have died enjoy the fullness of eternal life. Lord in your mercy

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and intentions……….. Lord in your mercy

We ask Mary our mother to watch over and guide us as we pray; Hail Mary………

CELEBRANT

We thank you Father for you many gifts. Give us courage and generosity to put them at the service of our brothers and sisters. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen
