Today, as we embrace the coming of New Year, it is also an opportunity to cherish the birth of Jesus. We bring before our heavenly Father our own families and members of our local and world communities, knowing that His love is eternal.

We pray for Pope Francis and all religious leaders as they respond to the situations faced by families in a changing world. May the challenge to live in peace and reconciliation with one another be blessed by the Holy Spirit to make the positive changes needed in our lives. Lord hear us
We remember all those people around the world living in places of conflict and violence. We pray that leaders of all nations will have the wisdom and strength to move forward on the path of justice making the Christmas message of peace a reality for the people they govern. Lord hear us
We pray for all families especially those struggling to cope with the demands and challenges of domestic life. May the example set by the Holy Family strengthen and inspire them to grow closer to God and one another. Lord hear us
On this eve of new beginnings, we pray for the courage and strength to follow Jesus in everything that we say, think and do. May the Holy Spirit guide and support us to make wise decisions and choices in the year ahead. Lord hear us
Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and those presented today in our Parish Book of Intentions. Lord hear us
We turn to Mary our blessed mother who inspires us to love, trust and follow God. May she support and strengthen us through the coming year as we pray; Hail Mary……………………..
