Saturday before Holy week would usually find us planning the week ahead, looking for ministers to help, and finding people to have their feet washed. But here we are looking at the revised Liturgy, and working out which one of us is doing everything etc! As the New Year turned who would have thought this is where we would be? Yet this is our reality, and it is only with our feet fully rooted in the here and now that we can make progress. Faith is for all seasons, so perhaps the challenge to us at this time is to make the most of it and let it grow; if we do we may not be able to change the absurd of life at the moment, but we will be well grounded and prepared to take on the better days when they come.
