Carefully does it: now the Government is thinking about making the first lockdown changes, we should not forget that the North West has become the hotspot for the virus. Today I saw a group of 5 lads walking down the lane together, like all young people their age full of fun and daftness: on one hand it was good to see but on the other I was thinking should they be really doing this at the moment? For all of us this may be a time when we have to rebuild our confidence to go out but it should also be a time when we are not careless or inconsiderate of others. So let’s not get too excited yet, but listen carefully to the new instructions when they come, and take them “one step at a time, sweet Jesus….”
