Day Seventeen: Monday 6th April 2020

Thought I would share this prayer submitted by one of our pupils as part of the home work of our children in Year 6:

Our righteous Lord,

Please let us get through these tough times with you by our side.

As I know, with you anything is possible.

Forgive me for any of my past sins and any other wrong doings that I may have done and allow me to live a pious life following your way.

During these times of hardship, I have realised how many things I and many other take for granted, for example: food, soap, tissues, toilet paper and many more items used on a daily basis. Thank you for showing me how important the littlest things can be depending on the situation.

Covid-19 may have been the backbone for many conflicts and deaths but it also seems to be a reset-button for the human race. People are coming together to help one another to simply just survive and it is all because of this virus.

Bad or not this virus has done the world a huge favour by bringing us all together. Maybe this is just your way of saying “start again.” Amen
