Day Three hundred and thirty seven: Saturday 20th February 2021

Some asked me what I am reading during Lent: at the moment I am enjoying Fr. James Martin’s book, “Learning to pray” which I highly recommend. I also have going ”It is right and Just” by Scott Hahn & Brandon McGinley; The Magnificat publication has a Lenten Companion which is helpful; I am also reading Cardinal Pell’s first volume of his diary in prison, and finding it both moving, interesting and inspiring, and like a lot of you I have to hand St. Mark’s Gospel and “At you Word Lord.” On the other side of the spectrum I am reading, ”A Spy among friends” by Ben Macintyre, a great read and “ A song for Dark times” by Ian Rankin which is just building up!  mjk
