The sad news that over 50000 people have died of Covid 19 in our Country alone are today’s headlines. It’s hard to imagine so many, but just think of City’s ground on match day and you will realise what that number means. So many valuable lives lost, the skills not used, the laughter no longer heard, their key in the door no longer turning, their singing in the shower no longer driving us mad, their stories of a long life remaining untold, their potential gone. Each one is a very special treasure to someone, add them all up together and we have lost an absolute fortune of blessings. Does anything more need to be said? Please be safe, think of others, too many tears have been shed already.
