Bidding Prayers: 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, 6th November 2022

CELEBRANT

We come to you Heavenly Father with our prayers, confident of your love and knowing that you care for each one of us.

READER

We pray for our Holy Father Pope Francis during his visit to Bahrain this weekend. May his presence help to further positive dialogue and peace between the peoples of the East and West and greater understanding and acceptance between Christians and Muslims. Lord in your mercy

We pray that the many words and declarations made at the Climate Conference COP27 this weekend will be translated into actions that will make a positive impact upon our world. We remember those young people who have had the courage to make their voices heard and pray that they will exert a possible influence in the future. Lord in your mercy

We pray for those who suffer loneliness and trust that they may experience the closeness and the support and care of others. Lord in your mercy

During this month of the Holy Souls, we remember our loved ones and friends. We also pray for everyone suffering the pain of bereavement. May they be comforted by God’s healing presence and those who have died enjoy the fullness of eternal life. Lord in your mercy

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and those presented today in our parish book of intentions………………. Lord in your mercy

We ask Mary our mother to watch over and guide us as we pray; Hail Mary………
