CELEBRANT
As we celebrate our Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and devoutly recall his passion, let us offer our prayers through him to the Father.

We pray for the Church around the world: as we enter Holy week, may the passion, death and resurrection of Christ inspire us to work together for the good of all, sharing in the gifts of God’s creation. Lord in your mercy
We pray for world leaders that they may be guided and influenced by the message of peace that Christ brings through his passion and resurrection. Lord in your mercy
We remember all those who are suffering through poverty and hunger, violence and injustice, that the power of the crucified and risen Christ will give them hope and consolation. Lord in your mercy
We pray for those who hunger and thirst for spiritual meaning in their lives, that the gospel of this Holy Week may help them to find the true life they are seeking. We also remember members of our families who have given up the practice of their faith and we pray that they will turn again to find the Lord and receive healing in his presence. Lord in your mercy
Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and those presented today in our Parish Book of Intentions……………………….. Lord in your mercy
We ask our Lady of Sorrows, to pray with us and especially for Pope Francis as he continues to recover: Hail Mary…………………………
CELEBRANT
Loving Father, we ask you to hear our prayers and what we ask in faith, may you grant through your son who suffered and died for our sake, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
