I got a phone call today to tell me that the Chiropodist is re-opening on Monday, ouch said my feet! They work hard each day carrying me about so a little treat does them and me good. Fr Nicholas tells me at long last an impacted tooth he had was able to be removed when the dentist opened this week. This weekend family members can meet again in their “Bubbles” which will be a blessing for many; I hear the glad news of Grandparents meeting newborn Grandchildren for the first time. So Perhaps this is a sign that things are slowly coming back. Small steps please as we still do not know the impact of this week’s demonstrations and the news that the R rate is beginning to raise again in certain areas: so let’s not get too giddy but be careful, prudent and very sensible, we owe to ourselves and everyone else.
