As we continue in lockdown it is good to remember in prayer our Sister Churches here in Burnage; for many years we have worked and prayed together. We not only acknowledge our differences but have learned over the years to respect and value the gifts of the Holy Spirit alive throughout the whole of the Church and especially recognising the wonderful gifts and talents visible here in Burnage. Because of Covid-19 many of our usual initiatives have been put on hold but the shining example of the Food Bank which was a Churches together in Burnage initiative is continuing to serve those who desperately need its help: Thanks be to God for that and indeed for all our wonderful volunteers. Please God when this is all over we will be able to have a great celebration together to mark the occasion and perhaps to rededicate ourselves for the future. Let’s make the Lord’s prayer our own that in the end “They all may be one.”
