You know the isolation is getting to you when you look down after Mass and realise that you have odd shoes on! Worse still that they felt better than a normal pair, that’s when you go and have a lie down in a dark room for a little while. Good Shepherd Sunday today when we traditionally pray for vocations, so let’s do that and for the rest of the week, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could get a vocation from among our little flock here in Burnage? I am minded today that Jesus also says he is the Gate which speaks of safety and being home. Perhaps we should also remember in our prayers those who have wandered away from the Lord or perhaps even from your family, that they will know the door is always open.
