With all the talk of Coronavirus dominating everything it can be easy to forget that the World keeps turning. The tragedy of Lebanon is still alive as people endeavour to rebuild and mourn; Famine once more seethes through parts of Africa; there are countless deaths in the Yemen; Chinese Christians are being subjected to terrible persecution at this time; there are wars; people running away from terror; and the daily reports of the lengths refugees will go to for freedom; and still we battle a modern version of Slavery; the list could go on and on! That is why from time to time we need to look outside our own complicated world and spare a thought, a prayer and support for those whose needs in many cases are beyond imagining. That is why the work of CAFOD is so important and deserves our support.
