Have been watching the kids riding up and down on their new bikes which they got for Eid: bikes, purple, red, white, and even an orange one! For our Muslim friends this is a wonderful time of the year, when usually they not only pray at the Mosque but have great banquets, and family get togethers, give gifts especially to the children, drive around in hired exotic cars, and take over the Prom at Blackpool: but sadly not this year. We hope the memories of the past will see them through this unusual time. But here’s a thought I just wonder how we would have all coped if this virus time was being lived through our Christmas time? Just a thought! Thankfully their is something in common we can share together with our Muslim Sisters and Brothers in these difficult times, we can all say, “God is Great”.
