Day Thirty: 2nd Sunday of Easter 19th April 2020

Today’s Gospel, speaks of Peace, faith, by his wounds we have been healed, my Lord and my God. Without doubt we are touching the wounds of Christ whenever we hear the daily numbers of the recent dead. It is difficult to contemplate how this all happened, how did we find ourselves in this situation? That is why we need our faith to draw us closer to the peace of Christ which takes away our worry and anxiety. Thomas teaches us that when we touch the wounds of Christ, we are so humbled that all we can say is “my Lord and my God” and the Lord will bring healing into our lives.
