We should have been finalising the details of Bishop John’s visitation this weekend, but sadly like so many things it can’t take place. Perhaps that gives us an opportunity to look beyond Burnage, and extend our gaze elsewhere? Let’s therefore, pray for the Bishop, the Diocese and our own Deanery of St Ambrose Barlow over the weekend simply because whatever you are feeling so is everyone else; lets pray that it won’t be long to the day when we can all return to our wonderful family Churches. In the meantime let us be living stones, with Christ Our Lord the Cornerstone.
