The twelfth Station; Jesus dies on the Cross
We adore thee O Christ and we praise thee because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.
There is something profound in looking at Jesus on the Cross and seeing His arms stretch out and showing us how much he loves us, and seeing his feet nailed showing that he is staying here with us, and witnessing His heart pierced and Bleeding, broken for us out of love. There are so many people in the world, with low self-esteem and feeling unlovable: if that is you look upon a Crucifix and see that Jesus does this because you are beautiful and wonderful and worth it in His eyes. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.
