The fourteenth Station of the Cross: Jesus is laid in the tomb
We adore thee O Christ and we praise thee because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.
This has been some twelve months as the World has been struggling with the Pandemic, and each day the death toll was rising and rising. It was so cruel that families were not able to be with their dying loved ones, and funerals were almost done in secret with only a few present; thankfully it has improved during the year and we hope that we will be able to pay our proper respects to the dead in the near future. In the meantime we gather with Mary and this small group of people who come to say farewell to Jesus, and we commend all those who have lost loved ones that they may be comforted and the dead may have eternal life. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.
