The tenth Station: Jesus is stripped of his garments
We adore thee O Christ and we praise thee because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.
How painful this must have been, how humiliating and yet this is what must happen in this love story, for you and me. Whenever we come to this Station I can’t help but think of so many good people who have been stripped of everything through the affects of Alzheimers and other debilitating and memory lose sicknesses. Wonderful people who are a shell of who they were, and the concern and sadness of their families: let Jesus stand among them also stripped and loving them into heaven. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.
