Was thinking today that the Cricket season should have started and that Lancashire should have been playing Kent at Old Trafford and the weather would have been perfect for the four days play. Having watched Cricket since I was eleven and loving the County Championship I have come to realise that it is a game of many twists and turns as well as skill and that patience is a real virtue. As we are now in the fourth week of isolation, consoled by this year’s edition of Wisden, just want to say keep going, chin up, the key is to be “not out” at the end of the innings!
