Bidding Prayers: 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time, 5th November 2023

CELEBRANT

In response to God’s call to share his love with one another, we now bring our prayers for all his people before our Heavenly Father in faith and hope.

READER

We pray that we may be a truly living Church that offers great opportunities to people young and old, to encounter and share the love of Christ and through the Holy Spirit work toward an increased knowledge and understanding of our faith. Lord in your mercy

We continue to pray for peace in the Holy Land and especially for the innocent victims and civilians caught up in the conflict. May the ruling forces seek solutions that will end the bloodshed and violence. Lord in your mercy

We pray that we will learn to love our neighbour as ourselves. May we become increasingly tolerant and understanding as we learn to forgive, accept difference and grow together into the people God wants us to be.
Lord in your mercy

In our celebrations of the Feasts of All saints and the Holy souls we are reminded of those lives we have known and loved, whose inspiration and care have made us better people and pray that the joy of new life in Christ will be theirs. Lord in your mercy

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and those presented today in our Parish Book of intentions…………… Lord in your mercy

Let us ask our blessed mother Mary with all the saints to watch over, inspire and guide us as we pray; Hail Mary………………..

CELEBRANT

Heavenly Father, help us to do your will, finding happiness and fulfilment in serving our sisters and brothers in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord Amen
