Had a trip out today, walked over to School to help with some interviews, which went very well. It is incredible that many people don’t realise that our School has never closed even on the Bank Holidays, and has been providing for children both in the classroom and on the internet. Some parents have been coming in to pick up work for their children, and staff have been visiting families with work or taking them food and also ringing around to make sure families are OK. The meeting I was at was in preparation for September and was attended by our new Headteacher Mrs Breeze. When I hear all the talk and fuss about Schools opening, both ours and Green End next door have never closed. Thursday will find us trying to fix the parameters to allow more children to come back in June sometime, this meeting will be by Zoom, and the key will be the well being and safety of both Children and Staff.
