The third Station: Jesus falls the first time
We adore thee O Christ and we praise thee because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.
Going back to those Jerusalem streets, nothing is straight, everything uneven, in some places you are climbing steps, the shopping crowds make the space limited, it is easy to be tripped and to fall even without a Cross.
Let us pray for those who fall at the first hurdle of life that they will know in their heart of hearts, that after the initial shock they can go from failure to success: for with Jesus we learn that “When I am weak, I am strong.” Lord have Mercy, Lord have Mercy
