We had a beautiful day for Corpus Christi this year sadly it should have been the first of our First Holy Communion days but hopefully we will reschedule them for later in the year. Our Rosary Bubble gathered as they have been doing; they have been very loyal in sharing in this great prayer and we were able to share with them at the end of our Rosary a simple Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament in the entrance of the Church, at the end Fr John who was celebrating his birthday, gave the Blessing to the Bubble gathered and to the whole of Burnage. It seemed something very fitting to do, especially as we have been asked to give up so much over the past months. We are still waiting to hear when we can open the Church, when we know you will find out on the Website and no doubt smoke signals will go out all over Burnage. In the mean time keep safe and don’t get trampled if you go our shopping this week.
