Day Two hundred and thirty nine: Saturday 14th November 2020

As the Lockdown continues, I don’t know about you, but this time it seems to be dragging more than the one before. Perhaps it’s because usually we are in the midst of the madness attached to Christmas in this Country and we are all a little frustrated that we can’t get out and do the usual, and the worry that there won’t be enough time when it is eventually lifted. I mean how many times can you watch “White Christmas” or “the Grinch”? How is it that suddenly life is so boring and you are feeling fed up? Wait a minute, take a step back, are we the same people who usually complain there is not enough time do the things we need to do at home, are we the ones who say I wish I had time to read that book someone bought me, could you possibly be the person who hoped to have time to say some prayers and do those devotions that have been behind the clock for ages? Never mind watch “the Grinch” have I become the Grinch? So calm down, give yourself a break, be at ease, you may never get these days again, use them wisely, don’t long for their passing, but let them be days that you have filled with as much life as possible, and let tomorrow be even better!
