Bidding Prayers: 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time, 10th October 2021

CELEBRANT

Gathered in the presence of the almighty Father, we pray in confidence for the needs of the Church and the world.

READER

We pray for Pope Francis and the Bishops of the Church as they begin the universal Synod. We pray that charity will lead to good idea and discussion over the next few weeks. Lord in your mercy

We pray for insight and determination throughout the world so that climate change may be tackled. May we work hard to nurture our fragile environment and preserve the beauty of God’s creation. Lord in your mercy

We give thanks for the love and care of our families. Help us to appreciate them and work hard to overcome any problems that exist. May our families always be a source of love, support and hope for the future. Lord in your mercy

At this time of Harvest we remember all those who are in need especially families on low incomes who find themselves in debt and unable to provide food and a secure home for their children. Help them to find the support and help they need to improve their future life. Lord in your mercy

Let us pause for a moment in silence as we bring to the Lord our personal prayers and intentions…….. Lord in your mercy

We ask Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary to bring peace and hope for the future as we pray: Hail Mary……….
